Series is locked so the new seasons (Season 26 - Horizons) cannot be added. please unlock the series and change the status from ended. The series is not over and Horizons is a new season of the main show, not a new series.

Neither AniDB, AnimeNewsNetwork nor MyAnimeList consider it as a sequel. Consequently, it should be a separate series.

Pokemon themselves consider it the same show, and that's all that matters. TV Shows change characters all the time its not an entirely new show just because Ash left.
