WTF??? Rumors are she got killed off due to pay disagreements, but the producers are saying it was a creative choice and that there was no more story to tell. BS!!!! She was such an interesting character. There were loads more they could have done with her story. Really upset about this decision, because the show was her and Noah. I don't believe for once second her character would have killed herself because a guy cheated on her. Not a great way to end such a great and complicated character.

I totally agree with you!
I knew nothing of her leaving the show, so when Noah identified her body- I was like no,wait- what? Alison can't be dead! How can she be gone, is the series ending ,there's still more show to do!
We don't believe it and I couldn't believe that the other characters on the show believe it. I do think eventually Cole will be the one to figure out she was murdered by new boyfriend- since he already questioned him.

Here in the UK we are one episode behind the US so the last episode we watched was them identifying the body. I heard what happens in the next episode which will be aired tomorrow. I really felt for Cole. :-(

Oh, sorry
when I'm talking about the series one episode just rolls right into the other and you hadn't seen episode 9 as of my posting.
I'd like to know your thoughts when you see episode 10- the season finale.

No don't be sorry. You were not to know and I already heard what happened. They screened both Eps 9 and 10 yesterday, so I will watch when I get home tonight and let you know my thoughts.

Ok just watched the final two episodes.
Episode 9 - The first scenario is how Alison wanted the discussion to go. Second scenario was the real outcome. Now her stupid mother cremated her so there’s no body to do further tests. I really hope in season 5 (the final season), her murder will be addressed and that bastard put in prison. Which scenario did you think was real?
Episode 10 - Was a great way to end the season. I have to admit I laughed when Cole ran with the ashes. Seeing both Cole and Noah grieve in different ways was interesting to watch. Felt for both, but more for Cole.
I loved S1&2. Hated 3 but thought 4 made up for that. Still angry that Alison got killed off. Really want to know why she left which she cannot talk about it.

I think the second scenario was the real one- and
I sure wasn't expecting that to happen at all.
I think the murdering boyfriend (sorry, forgot his name) will not be able to keep that secret for too long (especially so since he's started to drink again). When Cole first questioned him, I thought- why? he wouldn't kill Alison. But after seeing what did happen and re-watching the questioning scene- boyfriend looks like he was lying.
I
too at Cole, that was too funny- I totally was not expecting that either. Yes and I am loving Cole and Noah's relationship now. I had hoped Cole and Alison would get back together one day.
I still can't believe she left either
. I was just SO sure Noah would look at that body and say, "No, that's not her."
I also enjoyed Noah and Helen's talk they had outside the hospital - first time in a long while they had a civil conversation and were not angry at one another. I've always mostly hated Noah, but he has gotten several like points from me this season for the way he has truly tried to help people.
The "...sink back into the ocean.." really reminds me of Alison now.
