OK, my original thread is now 6 pages and 70+ replies long. Time for a new one.
Am I the only one who thinks Pao's "music video" is a set up by the show? I was LMAO about the caption for "Musical Artist." The whole production looked very amateurish.
That wasn't the funniest Mo ment though. That would be our man Mohammed's 007 move with his cell phone video.
Was anyone even slightly surprised by Alex's "surprise" visit?

Amsterdam:
Darcy has a few glasses of wine one night and now she is a raging alcoholic in Jesse's mind? He has every right to decide that he doesn't want to be around alcohol but it was the way he did it. Promise me you won't drink again, like you would say to a teenager. Instead just say, I don't want to be around alcohol. Then it becomes Darcy's decision.
Spain: Starting to feel staged, like Paris. I may bail on this one. Cortney is giggling, like she can hardly say the fake lines.
Haiti: Sean, your gut is right, listen to it. She is more into Chris than she is into you. He probably won't though.
Brazil: If Karine doesn't end this one, then she gets what she deserves. She has all the evidence she needs.

Oh, he was sooooooooo treating her like a child and he was the parent.
I'm not seeing the fakery. I think she is just embarrassed by her choice to fly across the globe to be with this man.
Of course, he won't. If you saw their social media, they are starting up a business together. Abby should have just said that she's dating to Sean. She doesn't have to date just one guy, especially after only knowing Sean for only four months, and she's only 19!
I do feel for Sean, and why would Abby choose Gary Shandling over him is even more puzzling.
He acted so bizarrely with all of that crazy running. I can understand if he wanted to be alone, but he could have asked for a timeout or scattered off to a secluded spot and stayed.

I feel for Sean as well. He seems like a decent guy.

In the end, he gets the girl. He can't be mad at Abby. She is young and should date before flying off to another world w/a man she's only known for four months.

Yeah, Jesse making demands on me like that would be enough for me to end it. I'm not an alcoholic by any means, I could honestly live without it...but it was him trying to control her that would really bother me. And she lightly tried to address how controlling he is , but that just seemed to go over his head, like she was only talking about the prior night when she was drunk. ("I wasn't controlling, I was responsible for her safety!") Ok point way over his head lol. Why does she like him so much, it must just be because he's hot and young and that makes her feel young. I don't know.
I like how Chris wouldn't even stand and talk with Sean. That is such a cowardly way out of a conversation. I mean, on the one hand, I get the idea of "I do not have to dignify bad treatment"...but he just seemed smug and smarmy and wouldn't even have a two way conversation. I wonder what he was expecting. Like everyone said here, Sean should just be done with it, but we know he doesn't (be done with it). On the other hand, isn't the the pot calling the kettle black a little? Sean trying to be high and mighty with Chris. Both of them are at least 30 years older than her...I guess the difference is Sean will actually marry her? Either way, Abby does seem to have way more chemistry with Chris and I'd definitely be mad/hurt as Sean.
And Paul, yeah, what the heck. That was weird. I guess he was fully expecting her to be angry or reject him after that so he fled because he couldn't handle it. So when she came and found him, he wanted to jump in the mud so he wouldn't have to hear what she was thinking, and also why he was trying to refuse to give her the phone to translate. He seemed momentarily genuinely relieved when she said "I don't care!" but then he got all creepy again. That was weird. He's got some issues lol. His emotions were flailing. The way he was glaring at her grabbing on to the phone too was a little scary to me.

Very interesting episode.
Philipines: I guess if I were in his shoes, I would have done the same thing. I'm a very particular eater, and I wouldn't want to eat food in places that don't look clean. On the other hand, he knew he had to impress the girl. He should have sucked it up and did it.
Re: The dating primate message couldn't Jenny marked the messages as unread?
Brazille: Will Karine get another phone? How will she be able to communicate with Paul once he leaves?
Spain: Of course, the friend wasn't going to throw Antonio under the bus, but he knows he is a manwhore.
Haiti: That's all they could film and show?
France: Bored.

Apparently the new season of the regular 90 Day Fiance started last night too, but I haven't watched those yet. Just the Before the 90 Days.
I have some similar reactions. I wanted to see more of the Haiti/Chris/Sean fun. Chris seems like a narcissistic douche who is used to getting his arse kissed and only tolerates being around those who do, yet, at the same time, he was oddly entertaining to watch. I don't know if he'll be back but I wanted to see more of that.
I also wanted to see more of Paul and Karine, but I'm glad there was some. Paul is weird but I kind of don't hate him like some people seem to. (There is a pretty active subreddit for these shows...I lurk there but don't post lol). Anyway, maybe because Karine seems like a normal person and she is giving him a chance, it makes me interested too. I wouldn't want to date him myself or anything, but I like watching those two trying to get along and am oddly rooting for them? Even if she just wants to go to the US, I feel like she isn't just totally using him.
Okay the pig thing and Larry. I agree with you Poetist. You should see that subreddit, though...Larry is getting SO much hate for being so rude. I feel like he should have at least tried to hide his discomfort/disgust some...but, at the same time, I have pretty dramatic food restrictions due to health/medical issues, so undoubtedly I would offend the hell out of everyone and their brother and sister and father and mother, too. It's a super terrible position to be in. I've traveled to other countries and I know I offended at least one person because I was afraid to try the food because I didn't know what went in it (and was afraid of getting sick). Larry maybe doesn't have the same problems as me, but I could sympathize with him being in that awkward position of not being willing to try something but yet offending everyone. I know other cultures are just used to everyone eating everything they serve ever, but, that can really put people in a weird position. Again, he maybe should have "fake eaten" it a little more, or something. Not had it half hanging out of his mouth looking really apprehensive haha. But I don't think he got all the cultural underpinnings at ALL. This was a culture clash thing. What was an obvious huge injurious insult to all them was just a random "oopsie" to him. I guess in America it's not the end of the world not to eat everything you're given. So I don't blame him, but I'm sure it did put her in a really weird position. Well Jenny maybe you should think it through a little next time, you're so eager to bag an American haha, at least allow for the fact he might not know all your customs then! But to be fair, I don't think SHE got how much HE didn't get it (if that makes sense).
And Patrick in France. I lived in Paris for a year (and am in France now) and I swear I've never seen anyone running around with no shirt on. They're a little more modest here (in spite of upper nudity for women being on ads and such that you wouldn't see in the US). But it's like dude come on, no shirt, really? I like watching those scenes for the shots of Paris, but that's about it ;)

Wait! What? I hope I have 90 Day Fiance taped, but I don't think I do.
Yes, I agree.
She's only giving him a chance, because he was the only sap to travel 5 days to meet her in the Amazon. Best believe, if she had other choices, she wouldn't be trying this hard.
That reminds me. When I was in Greece on an island hotel, I was served breakfast, and I wasn't eating it. I was more preoccupied with something else, and I looked up and my table was circled with about five women wondering why I wasn't eating.
I agree, but I think she has to be educated about cultures. I wonder what she does for a living.
I don't think men walking around w/o shirts is common in the US either, unless you're near a beach or about to be arrested on Cops.

Shirtless man are not appropriate in Europe on city streets. Resorts and beeches only. Same goes for shorts, generally.

Latest Before the 90 Days:
I agree about Chris. He is a douche, but has some charisma. Not unthinkable that a young woman like Abby would be interested in him. I wish more of their story had been shown, unlike.....
Patrick and Myriam. Bored is right. I don't buy this story at all, and the fake story isn't even good. I may skip it going forward.
Cortney, talking about wanting a family values type, and who is she with but the biggest manwhore in Malaga. She should ditch him and hook up with his hot friend Samuel.
Larry, I am guessing you eat pork at home so why not in the Phillippines? I'll bet that pig was good. Pit roasted in leaves gives tender, tasty meat. So the head was still attached, guess what, all slaughterhouse pigs get their heads cut off. It never ceases to amaze me how little connection most Americans have to meat production.
Were Darcy and Jesse in the episode at all, I honestly can't remember.
Oh, and how could I forget Paul. I hope Karine sticks to her guns and ends it, but outlook cloudy on that. Does anyone else think that machete phone theft incident was staged?

Lol there was no Darcy and Jesse.
Larry mentioned being afraid of "diarrhea" so either pork in general gives him diarrhea, or he was afraid that it wasn't made using hygienic standards...like, maybe it'd been sitting out too long and had food poisoning. Which I guess is insulting in itself, but I kind of get that, too, lol.
And Poetist, if you look at TLC's site, it seems there are new episodes of 90 Day Fiance? Still haven't watched them though

The first episode of the new season of 90 Day Fiance aired on Sunday, along with another episode of Before the 90 Days. The new season has 5 new couples plus Nicole and Azan, who are starting the K1 Visa process. Nicole hilariously threatened to move to Morocco with May if someone didn't sponsor Azan to come here. (She doesn't meet the income requirement). Her father fell for it. Yikes.
It seems like they are done with Where Are They Now?

I soooo agree!
If this is fake, why include it? My goodness, they have more than enough interesting couples. Why include this snooze fest?
I heard him say that he was afraid that he would get diarrhea. I don't think he was freaked out by the head of the pig.
Nope.
No, when a male friend of the family went to Jamaica, the same thing happened to him and a buddy. They were wearing their US military uniforms and for some reason two guys came after them.
