Discuss 90 Day Fiancé

Off to a flying start.

Wisconsin: He looks way over 40 to me. I'd guess 50 at least. His timelines don't add up, either, with his marriage, military service and post divorce. Really, he was thinking about going to Syria to fight ISIS grinning Anyway, I can't figure out why Miss Indonesia 8th runner up wants to come here. My working theory is that as a 29 year old divorcee with a child, she has limited marriage prospects at home. Drama with the stepdaughter ensues.

Colt and Larissa, another one with lots of drama potential. I think she is expecting him to be a pushover, but I got a sense that he has a back bone. She does seem like a big time diva with unrealistic expectations of life in America (seems to be the most common thread among the foreigners). Mother-in-law/ daughter-in-law drama ensues. And Colt, please, take those costumes off the cats.

Miss Fernanda has her man trained. She has a free apartment, schooling, and makeover courtesy of her besotted BF. I though he would be the creepy controlling type, but she seems to be in the drivers seat here.

Ashley, another delusional woman who thinks she can import a boytoy and expect him to be a stepfather. This one really is a boy, only 20? He is good looking and has a fun personality, but this is marriage we are talking about, not a vacation fling.

This season has gone beyond what a reality show should be doing, into some very dark territory. Cases in point:

Olga being mentally and emotionally tortured by Steven on an ongoing basis. It is almost too much to watch. His friend's mother tried to make lite of it on the live show, but I don't think I'm buying it. The look he gets in his eyes when he talks like that, the way she tries to accommodate him, and failing that, crying in desperation (which I think is completely genuine), as she tries to nurse her baby, shame on TLC. While I don't think Steven will actually take that baby without her, it sure seems real to her. At this point I am only watching their scenes to hope she comes out OK.

Eric and Leida's story has crossed some lines too. She either actually is, or is only being portrayed, as the world's biggest bitch, which has brought our some very scary commentary. Really awful things that people think should happen to her. If their story is real, watching Eric the absentee father dump his kids for her, its awful.

I watch this show to laugh and cringe, not call the domestic abuse hotline. Give me Angela and Nicole bulldozing through Nigeria and Morocco with cultural ignorance, Dani throwing her stalker files at Mo, the list could go on. I don't actually want to feel afraid for anyone on this show. The only comic relief is Colt and Larissa. I guess I could add Kalani after this week, crying about Asuelu getting her pregnant. Like she was not a willing participant, or at 30 years old, does not know how to prevent this.

Stupid Dvdr or Charter. I don't know which to blame. Plus, it's not on Command right now, so I'm going to wait until the rerun on Friday to comment.

Happy viewing.

At some point, I thought she would send Steven on a wild goose chase in an attempt to stop his efforts to take the kid to the US.

Well, that kind of stuff happens everyday. It's unfortunate but it needs to be seen. Parents drop their kids or put their children in jeopardy on the regular.

I can't tell who is dumber, Kalani or her man. Did you see how he ate the ice cream? It was all over her lips, but the stuff that comes out of her mouth seems so dumb.

A bit of a let down after last week's epic greatness, but here we go:

I cannot stand Kalani, Kalini, or the rest of her sorry family. If she isn't whining her sister is butting in where she doesn't belong. I just can't imagine what she sees in Asuelo. He seems younger even than 20, like maybe a mental and emotional 15 year old.

I did not see that coming with Jay. Didn't see it lasting, but I did not have him pegged for Luis 2.0

Steven's behavior was better this week. The way he so matter of factly said it was better for her to have the baby, I wonder if that particular drama was scripted. I don't think all of it was though, so I am still afraid for Olga long term. She seems like the most genuine person on the show.

Eric and Leida, still a head scratcher. What on earth do they see in each other? She is an OCD psycho byotch and he is a busteda-- 40 year old who looks like he may have escaped skid row. Supposedly he was homeless for 2 years. Those poor kids.

Coltee and Larissa tamed it down this week, but I still like them the best. Next week looks like things get turned up to 11!

Jon and Fernanda are the only ones I see having a long term future. Sure she is emotional, she is 19 and homesick, isolated in a foreign country. She was raised well I think, and with better communication I think they will be all right.

Merry Christmas! I celebrated yesterday, so I can see the game and then get up in the morning to do some after Christmas shopping.

You can't imagine what she sees in Asuelo? Did you miss seeing the bachelorette party scene? LOL. Otherwise, I agree w/everything you said.

Me either. He's 20, and I knew he wasn't in it for the long haul, but I was wondering when did he find time. They were having sex twice a day, but he wanted it three times a day. I guess Jay was looking for Ms. Goodbar.

I think he's a little imbalanced, and that's why the sudden change in behavior. Plus, he knew he couldn't take care of the baby by himself. Did you catch when he told Olga to feed Ritchie after he came back from the three-hour embassy meeting? If he was smart, he would have had a bottle on him for the baby. O

He looks as if he was homeless, but he has family and was married. I wonder what happened to him during that time.

The show seems to tape 4 to 6 weeks ahead of airing, and that scene was mentioned on the aftershow.

She is too much. You need to be with me. Don't come home late, not even 45 minutes late. That will not work. He will get bored w/her.

Apparently, Ashley's ex fiance was a woman-beater, and her ex-friend is trying to make a coin off the story.

That info has been out for a while. Also that she was abducted, raped and almost murdered when she was 19. Maybe Jay appealed to her because he doesn't have the violent vibe.

Wow, we do live in a violent and sadistic world.

I can understand if Ash wants to have a carefree relationship w/Jay, but the expectation that he will be something other than that is ridiculous. They both have a high sex drive, but his libido is higher. Other than letting him have a pass, I don't know what she can do about that. He's 20 and needs to sow some wild oats.

Agreed. I just don't get how all these women think they can import a boy toy and expect them to be a man.

Me either.

Didn't she learn from Dan and Mo or Molly and Luis or Jesse and Darcy?

Hey, it looks as if you got the swing of quoting on this board. Congrats!

You give me too much credit. I still haven't been able to imbed multiple quotes to the same post which you do so seamlessly.

Just write under the quote, but you need to make sure the quoted material has an arrow ( > )or two arrows (>>) pointing at it.

Happy New Year to you!

I'm kind of looking forward to the end of this season. Lots of nastiness and less entertainment value.

That was one ugly-ass wedding dress on Leicifer. Not flattering either, made her look thick in the waistline. The two older daughters skipping the wedding makes me think they are just as awful as they are being portrayed on the show. I read that they were offered and declined a second season. Good riddance.

Larissa, on the other hand, looked great in her goodwill wedding dress. All that sexting from him seems compulsive to me. She must just be hanging in there until she gets the green card.

Steven managed to behave himself, but in the previews for the tell-all, looks like Mr. Hyde comes out again.

Posters on other board claim to have knowledge that Fernanda has left Jonathon to pursue a modelling career in Chicago. We shall see. Or should I say carEEr. Pao 2.0?

Ashley should have immediately filed for an annulment. The longer she waits the harder it will be and she will have to get a divorce, which means he stays in the US. Her next move should be to seek therapy and figure out why she keeps making these disastrous relationship choices.
