It was initially added as two parts, but a ~~user~~ bot added two more episodes.

I just did a little research. On IMDb the series has three episodes and they use the original air dates. Wiki has it in three parts with the 2016 air dates. TVDB has it in two episodes with the original air dates and won't budge.

I think 4 episodes is the right call. They aired two episodes per night on two consecutive nights:

If you'll notice, it was me who added the first two episodes on 2014/12/5 and TMDb Bot who added the second two on 2014/12/14.

Oops, that's right. I didn't remember who it was, but it was the bot.

On subsequent airings on Sundance, they split it into four parts and changed their website to match.

Do you mean like two days later? The second one is dated 12/08, there is a little margin of error but not much..

Why not make this thread public and give it a more descriptive subject. That will allow other users who may question the episode numbers to see this information.

I mostly made the post for you and to warn future mods not to trust other databases, but sure.
