I'm confused as to why people would disagree. The season episodes literally repeat what's already in season 5 and 6.

I can somewhat see why people would label it this way since other places such as TVDB have all the episodes split into just 2 seasons. It should either be on or the other, either have set seasons similar to how wiki labels them or just go the easy route and lump them into their airing order.

Yeah. Well. I could delete the season but someone who disagrees will just re-add them 😂 and if its decided it should stay together we have that other season haha. Theres a ongoing discussions about this. You can search for “chineese cartoons” to find it! Read through it and share your opinion/thoughts if you like 🙂

This wouldnt be a discussion of episode order if the movie db had DVD order and absolute order options like TVDB does. Now that the DVDs have been released this discussion should be moot as Funimation have decided on the season splits for you.

But funimation is not the original release. Its just an American. So it is absolutely not important.

Thanks for replying. That’s why I said you should have absolute order and DVD order. The former being the Japanese airing and latter the Madman/Funimation (westernised) listing. Dragon ball Z Kai only has one run and zero re releases so it hasn’t got messed up season splits like the original 299 episode Dragon Ball Z does; So it’s not much of a debate. Further still are we going to just leave this season incorrect with episodes clearly copied from other seasons and out of order?

For the sake of brevity. So you’re saying that the millions of copies of blu-ray releases are not important or official enough? So basically you’re telling me that Movie DB western audience doesn’t matter even though it’s broken into seasons already. Anyway, the rest of the seasons are fine its just season seven is clearly incorrect.

Yeah, that's all planned. The long running anime and telenovelas are definitely somewhere on Travis's radar! It's just that he's got a lot on his radar haha, so for now it's a bit (big) mess. I'm definitely not touching it until we have some guidelines and tools for how to deal with it.

I’m offering to clean up season 7, if im allowed Remove the duplicates and list them correctly. Can I provide you with the metadata or do you have some form of XML I can upload to do all 27 episodes at once?

@joker8656 I remove Season 7. There episodes were all duplicates. The seasons still need to be merged, but it's a start.

FYI we always try to follow the original release. So all international and/or subsequent releases are equally irrelevant when it comes to the original data.
