I guess there are similarities, but I much prefer When Calls The Heart, which may be related more to seeing the characters than the music. Sometimes I just watch the opening over and over again. Much better than watching a table being set or a dog walking along the road.

For the longest time, I was trying to remember what the intro song reminded me of, then it finally hit..Downton Abbey. I enjoyed Downton Abbey for the first two-three seasons, but feel like it went downhill after that.

I really enjoy this show. It reminds me of my childhood when TV was not so complicated and weird. Its just a nice, simple family show.

Yes, Season 5 is assured. I was so surprised when Jack didn't return for the season finale. Maybe he had a movie gig, but the show felt off without the two central characters sharing scenes. I think we need a wedding in Season 5. Maybe the creative team is worried about sustaining interest after a wedding, but they should also worry about fans losing interest if Jack and Elizabeth's relationship doesn't move forward.

I agree they should be worried about people losing interest. I much prefer the show with him there. He is just such a good actor and adds a lot to the show. Plus he's nice to look at

Definitely want a wedding in season 5, unless they find a way to postpone that! I think Jack and Abigail are my favs. I don't love Elizabeth.

I'm hoping a wedding will bring back Elizabeth's sister, Julie, and Jack's brother. I liked them.
