Item: Grisù
Language: en-US
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: I figured out what the deal with the second season nobody knows anything about is: the german release for example took the about 13min or so episodes of the original italian release and made double episodes from it. the 29. italian episode (or 1. episode of the 2nd season) for example is the first half of german numbered episode 17. i actually don't know how to deal with it. they are not narratively combined, they were just put together because it fit the german network better i guess. till this day the complete series is marketed as 28 episodes in germany. any suggestion how to correct this?

We don't support content split up or combined in other countries. Original airing overrules all. Italian release it is! It seems most likely that the original Italian release didn't have proper seasons.
Unless proven otherwise I'm all about adding all 52 episodes into season 1.
German airing is of no importance, if for example they would have split the original Italian first season into TWO seasons, you could've used episode groups. But we can't do nothing about episodes actually being split or combined... The best you could do is name them "Episode Title (1)" and "Episode Title (2)" or somethign x']... You can just put the same description in both episodes?

thats a big mess actually haha, there are only german episode titles so far for this show added, not even italian ones. would it be fine if all 52 episodes were in season one but the german titles for the first 28 episodes remained as they are? since there is no german 52 episode release i assume that would be most practical to everyone?

Yeah, I know hahaha. The airdates are also wrong (I suggest just emptying them all out, except the first one, because it did air in 1975 in Italy)., so I think our best approach would be to make episode 28 actually episode 51 (or 52), and episode 27 make it episode 49 (or 50, depending on your first choice), then create an episode in between for each move yaknow....
BUT, here's the thing, the Italian order SHOULD map those episodes... so if Episode 1 of German release is actually two random episode, like episode 3 and 10 of the original release.. that doesn't even work... and then I suggest just deleting the german stuff at first and maybe re-add if you know how it maps to the original release?

It maps random as far as I've checked. I'd have to manually search for each episode in its italian original and then find that episode in one of the 28 italian ones.. really annoying. I'd suggest just having 52 episodes in the first season (and no 2nd season) and leaving the german names as they are, even if that is technically not correct. If someone did correct italian titles and descriptions for all the episodes theeeen we could maybe throw out the german ones I think. But for now getting rid of the "correct" german order would only make it so the german people can't use it anymore. very weird dilemma..
maybe we could create a german order grouping that would be according to the first half of the german episode. for example if the first half of the german first episode was #4 of all italian ones and, first half of 2nd german episode was #7 that would be the order. it's hard for me checking though not being able to read up things in italian :/

A simple "1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2..." naming is not possible i assume?
