There is going to be at least one new character on Legends next season, with origins not from the comics. An article I read listed some examples, and one was from the Super Friends...Black Vulcan. With the Black Lightning series coming, Black Vulcan probably will not be it. However, growing up with the Super Friends as a kid, I would love it if the character came from that series. So many nods have already been aimed at the series, it's not impossible. The people in charge of this show obviously are fans of the Super Friends themselves. Here is a list of characters from the Super Friends made for the show and not originating from the comics:
Marvin, Wendy, Wonder Dog, Zan, Jayna, Gleek, Black Vulcan, Samurai, and Apache Chief.
My guess is we won't see Wonder Dog on Legends, although he is in the Batman Lego Movie! It most likely won't be from the Super Friends, anyway, but one can hope. What other characters from outside the comics could we see next season?

Wonder Twin powers, ACTIVATE!
Actually, aren't there plenty of characters from inside the comics to choose from.

Love it! You may know this..Zan and Jayna made an appearance on an episode of Smallville that fit the show very well...not "Super Friendish" at all. They were normal people and simply said, "powers...activate!" Jayna also had a Gleek phone that made his giggle-like noise when it ran, but it was subtle. It was well done, so the Wonder Twins really aren't out of the question! :)
There are countless characters from the comics to choose from. I guess they want to be a little different with this one.

Yes and as I recall, the gorgeous Allison Scagliotti played Jayna in that Smallville episode. She also starred in Warehouse 13 on SyFy and is currently a regular on Stitchers on freeform.

She is definitely a cutie.
Samurai and Jesse Quick interacted in the Brightest Day comic book crossover storyline in 2010, so he has a connection to the Arrowverse.

If they had the rights to the character, partially-clad and leggy Rima would be my #1 Super Friend to join the show. :-D

Rima! I had forgotten about her. I wonder if she has made other appearances.

DC lost the rights to her a long time ago, I believe. She's actually a character from the book Green Mansions by William Henry Hudson and predates Tarzan.

The team could use a speedster so maybe Jesse Quick?
