I understand that the Thawne in legends is a time remnant, what i dont get is how can he be a remnant of the thawne who worked with cisco and caitlin? Shouldnt all time remnant reverse flash be pre wellsobard?

Don't try to make sense of it.

Yeah i've noticed at this point continuity and common sense aren't really a thing in these shows anymore 😕

Is the Thawne time remnant the same one who was just in the crossover?
Is Darhk who is on Legends right now a time remnant as well?

No there are multiple time remnants of thawne but the same question comes up with him to......and Darhk is just the same guy.....probably 🤔

As Thawne said, time can be tricky.
Yes, they resurrected the Dahrk that Oliver killed. Remember?

It can get confusing even when it is straight forward 😕 best just to take each episode as it is and not over analyse just enjoy the show!!

Yeah...try doing that as an analytical technical writer! :) I actually do take stuff at face value and relax during shows most of the time, but time travel and alternate universes fascinate me and sometimes I find myself doing this...and usually I just go with it anyway. To some people it blows their mind that at one point in Back to the Future: Part II, there are actually three DeLoreans in 1955 at the same time. I'm just like...cool!

If you're talking about the Thawne that showed up in the Earth X crossover...yes this is the same Thawne post Eddie's death, we just don't know how he beat death just yet.
However, remember, Flashpoint could have had a myriad of consequences, butterfly effects basically, that will reveal themselves over time. Its not hard to guess Thawne's resurrection is somehow one of them. Pre-Flashpoint Thawne was 100% permanently dead (with the one showing up in Legends being a time remnant), POST-Flashpoint, well, we find out in the crossover that Thawne was 100% temporarily dead. Whenever he returns again maybe we'll get some insight into how.
In short, blame Flashpoint.
Barry screwing up the timeline indirectly made it possible for his greatest foe to return to the land of the living.
