It appears obvious to me that the reason they're bringing in Constantine is to deal with Damien Darhk. I can't wait to see them face off. I hope, though, that Constantine doesn't just drive Darhk away, but actually kills him and destroys him from existence so he can never come back again.

I hear you. I am so sick of Damien Darhk. Some shows don't know when to give up on a villain and move on to someone else. I quit watching Walking Dead, years ago, because I couldn't take any more of The Governor.

One of the reasons I stopped watching The Walking Dead is they didn't get rid of Negan when they should have...and he's still there! Enough already. If they brought Darhk back as a reason for bringing in John Constantine, then I'm ok with that. But if he's going to keep hanging around and coming back--or if John actually loses against Darhk--then that's just not good stuff.

My fan theory is that they have John there to help get rid of Mallus and Dark for good and then John stays on and becomes the new Legend to replace Firestorm.

But remember, Firestorm is two people, not one. If Constantine stays they'd still have ONE slot left to be filled.

Kid Flash. I'm not a fan of his, but the two logical choices to fill in the two seats--which has been confirmed will happen--are Constantine and Kid Flash.
Even though John worked with Chas and Zed on his show, overall he likes to work alone. Having him work on a team would be a stretch for his character. Then again, the Legends seem to be a group that pulls in the unlikeliest of people. So, it's possible.
