Discuss The Expanse

So I was wondering about all the space-ship bits and pieces. They seem to be experiencing massive g-forces, shouldn't that be a non-issue in zero-g? I.e. couldn't they just strap in, disable the artificial gravity and do whatever? I was under the impression that with gradual speed increase, you wouldn't suffer much from speed in a vacuum, but it seems to be a nigh-constant issue.

I don't think artificial gravity is depicted, magnetic boots are. Newtonian physics still mostly apply apparently. The increasing acceleration depiction does seem to bend the laws a tad.

They aren't floating inside the ships, not all the time anyway.. i.e. artificial gravity, yes?

what about the idea of constantly rotating hulls to create 1g gravity. Does that work?

Rotation would create artifical gravity, yes. Many spaceship designs use this for that reason.
