The whole second season was irritating and unsettling! The characters were all unlikable and the show was so sterile looking. Every apartment and office was completely bare, completely void of decoration. I know they were going for bleakness but it was too much nothingness. If too much nothingness is a thing, they nailed it.
I think the visual aesthetic carried from the first season and that didn't bother me. I like Friel and Krause, so that got me to maybe episode 8 or so, but even their story p!ssed me off. There's WAY too much creepiness overall, I'd say. Friel's character is a hyper-cold, evil, manipulative b!tch. Krause's character is seemingly semi-retarded and essentially victimizes herself. The Bria character... her white teenage daughter... the weirdo US Marshal who falls in lust with Bria and then the weird motivational speaker steady John guy are all just too much for me.
