SPOILERS
Wow! I'm shocked at how the episode went. It was totally unexpected. The memorial scene at the end was incredible. I was a blubbering baby. I do hope we still see Q next season. I just can't picture the show without him.

I more wondered about the huge time jump at Fillory, 300 years since they left last? They've gone back and forth to Fillory many times in the show, they've never had a huge time jump like this before.

Yeah! I have no idea what's going on there! That was pretty crazy. Everything after Quentin dying kind of took a back seat for me. I was a mess. I didn't delete the recording and I plan on rewatching it. I think I'll keep that recording just for their rendition of 'Take on Me' it was so good!

I really liked that moment at the memorial where Q sees that Elliot is alive and they succeeded. Very touching.

Finished about 30 minutes ago; still in shock.
Totally confused as to what S5 will be. It would be a bit "cheap" to resurrect Q, and everyone else is spread across time and space.

Even though Q is technically the Lead I feel they did such a good job of building the ensemble that he is not needed in big amounts for the stories to keep going. The show spends as much time on others as him so it won’t feel too weird if he’s just featured in Underworld stuff. I like the idea that he’s dead for good and like Penny will have to embrace a new thing.

I'm still emotionally shattered the next morning. Note to self: Do NOT listen to that version of "Take On Me" again today!
Agree that it grew into a great ensemble cast, though I read an interesting piece suggesting that Q's role was as a "conduit" character - he was the one that connected the others, giving them a reason to work together in various combinations. I wonder if the show will suffer without that link, though I guess they all know each other now.
I actually hope that we don't see Q in S5 unless he's the finale cliffhanger or there's a whole plot about him (and hopefully Penny 40) needing to get out of The Underworld to help their friends. That said, unless they're great poker players, the showrunners say he's gone.
Assuming the plot lines set up for S5 are in play, it seems a bit disjointed: Julia and Penny 23 are presumably in our world, exploring their relationship (?) and Julia's powers, Margot and Eliot are 300 years in the future of Fillory, Fen and Josh (who Margot seems to have forgotten about
) are gone (but might return if the actors don't want too much money?), though I guess that Todd could fill in for Josh in the doofus role (and Rizwan Manji is in a new show, so presumably Tick is gone too), Alice and Zelda are sorting out The Library (with Sheila?) and Kady is presumably going to be leading the Hedges. Still, I have faith that the they'll will give us another great season.
