I expect that part is very well planned. But I wouldn't be surprised if they have a couple different versions of some episodes, and even their Customer Service people may not be aware of all the details.

Yes. Pluto can now show episodes with young, middle-aged and old Scotty in (S)SNW, (S)TOS and (S)TNG respectively. Of course, the same goes for Spock.
