Very impressive first 2 episodes. Great acting, writing and cinematography. The story unwinds slowly, but not in a boring way like with the Netflix shows, but rather in the way that builds up your anticipation. I think this could be the best thing Marvel TV has done to date, along with the Punisher.

I agree with you till about episode 7 (you can see my feelings on this and the earlier episodes in my previous posts), where the writers finally pick up the pace for the show. My biggest problem with this series was it had a Netflix Marvel show pace in a weekly series, which I couldn't stand. The Netflix slow pace is fine for Netflix because you can binge 2 or 3 episodes a day (or if you were me the entire season), but in a weekly series that pace is like watching snails race or baseball on television (you want to know who wins, but stop caring after 30 minutes).

I know right!? According to the show runner, he had issues with the cloak, but allowed it because Aubrey Joseph was so enthusiastic about wearing it. It's a weird thing that the movies are ok with costumes, but in television it's still a big no-no. I thought the cloak looked amazing.

IMO, what's really odd about the destruction of the cloak is that they focused on it throughout the series. They made it a issue for us to understand the origin of the cloak. And then to just destroy it? More waste of a already boring story.
