I don't remember why she can't recognize him. Didn't they meet in a bar or gathering and she went to his hotel room? Someone please help this old grey hair with her memory lapse, lol.

I thought Perry was the rapist (the brown shoes) but this show puts out so many red herrings I am beginning to think maybe not, he seems like the most likely suspect therefore he probably isn't.

We also see her staggering inside of the hotel room where he took her as if she's about to pass out.

So apparently the state of her intoxication is also suppose to interfere with her memory of him?

Maybe he could also have put something in her drink and drugged her?

Because her memory of the shoe prints on the beach is clear enough.

Now all we need to do is find the shoe and who it belongs to that left that print.

It's kind of like looking for Cinderella in reverse.

Only it's the shoe of the EVIL PRINCE that we go in search for this time instead of looking for the Glass Slipper?

Thanks Invidia. You've put up some good reasons why she can't remember his face. The shoe print is a reoccurring scene and there's been a few shots of brown shoes, similar or the same as what Perry wears. That's why I initially thought Perry was the rapist.

Plus Abigail also has those BC pills she got from Planned parenthood and was apparently also sneaking out with something when her Dad tried to find out what she had.

And Perry also left his house at 11am for a 5pm fight.

If she also ends up with bruises on her body like Celeste has, then we'd probably also know she's been seeing Perry?

And if Celeste leaves him and he has no one else to abuse, then Abigail might also become his new punch toy?

No, I don't think she is having an affair with Perry. The Facebook post - isn't it fairly common today for young teenagers to post sexy/slutty stuff? As for Perry leaving early, that one I can't figure out unless it's more passive/aggressive behaviour on Perry's part - he didn't get what he wanted so he'll punish Celeste by leaving early, trying to make her feel guilty.

I don't know anything at this point, lol, there's so many avenues to travel down. I've even thought Perry is the murder victim and the perpetrators are Jane, Celeste and Madeline. I think I've seen this theory posted somewhere else on this board. What are your thoughts?

I don't think Perry is f-cking Abigail, it's a possibility, but i think the writers are eager to put some flaws in Ed, i think it's more likely Abigail/ Ed affair(that would explain why she wanted to move in with her father, things got weird, she felt guilty and left thinking it would fix things), i doubt they're going to make Ed the perfect guy and Madeline the cheating wife, i think they'll try to make them equally flawed, Abigail probably is lying about the pills, i don't think Perry will interact with her in any way.

I pretty much doubt any of the ladies will die(except maybe Bonnie or Renata), but i put my money on the boys specially Perry and Madeline's douchey ex husband).
