Discuss Designated Survivor

I wish the writers would find better reasons for the bad guys staying one step ahead of law enforcement. *****Spoilers****

In S1, Ep 20, the bad guys are on a ship one hour out from Baltimore and heading to the harbor. Of course the bad guys get away so the viewer is forced to assume that we have no resources within one hour of Baltimore. No coast guard, No Annapolis, No Navy, No local law enforcement to meet and contain the ship. Why take a helicopter when it is much cooler to arrive in an Escalade and risk Beltway traffic? The bad guys not only have time to dock but they also make the same trip the good guys are making in reverse and reach FBI headquarters. I guess the bad guys were able to rent the last helicopter at Hertz. Oh well, all the fun must be held for the season finale.

They were inspired by the show 24 to get things done really fast. And can bypass any obstacles with made up techs

Agree that was annoying. Plus Hannah being treated like as felon when her picture probably has been everywhere in the bureau... sigh
