Does anyone else feel like she hits on him? It's kinda creepy. When he was taking that key card from her thigh...just not right

Its creepy cause only one of them knows they're related to the other. From her perspective Tom is a potential lover. This is why I hope the revelation that he's actually her son doesn't take a long time to come to light.

To me, she doesn't even look old enough to be his mom.

I think she does, if she had him really young. Famke Janssen is 52 in real life, assuming Scottie is the roughly the same age (50-52, I doubt they'd make her older), and Tom is roughly 30-32, it can work. She'd have to have been between 20 and 22 when Tom was born. Its close but IMO it works.

What I find interesting is apparently both Janssen and Eggold are six foot even, but since Scottie wears heels all the time it looks like she's taller. Kinda rare to see a mother taller than her son, even though in this case its artificial (heels).

I looked up their ages. She was born in '65 and him in '84. You're right and she'd have been young, 19, if my math is right. That makes me feel so old!

Maybe they're hoping that with "Bates Motel" on its final season that they can draw in the Oedipal crowd? It does seem an odd choice for a mainstream show to take. Wondering if it will turn out that they're not related.
