WONG TAl SHEUNG finds a wife for his son FUNG, who is an idiot. Before the marriage a white fox goes into FUNG's room and plays with him. KAN is SHEUNG's keen competitor, thus he sends his son YING to spoil FUNG's wedding banquet. By mistake FUNG catches SIU CHUI, thinking that she is his wife. SIU CHUI is a hawker selling fans in the market. YING and HAU come again and they are impressed by CHUI's CHOI m. They want to trick FUNG and CHUI with bees. Unexpectedly the bees attack them only and they fall into the river. KAN is discontented as his son is hurt. He goes to question SHEUNG. Before he leaves SHEUNG's house, his nose is hurt by a football kicked by CHUI.

YING and FUNG have a bet. They are going to have a football match and if YING loses the game, he will work as FUNG's slave. However CHUI will be given to YING if FUNG is defeated. CHUI uses magic to help FUNG and thus YING loses the game. He has to keep his words.

On SHEUNG's birthday, CHUI wants to celebrate by performing a drama. She asks FUNG to act as HONG YU and YING is to be his horse. When CHUI knows that the Prime Minister has arrives, she uses magic to make FUNG clever. FUNG is appreciated by the Prime Minister but it cannot last long. The magic ends when FUNG drinks some wine. He is scolded by the Prime Minister. SHEUNG wants to take FUNG to make apology to the Prime Minister. CHUI is willing to go for FUNG. YING discloses his love in front of CHUI and he entangles her. They are seen by FUNG's sister YUK CHI.

YING and CHI have fallen in love with each other. When they meet, they are seen by FUNG. SHEUNG plans to send CHI to be the Prime Minister's daughter-in-law to flatter him. KAN grasps the chance to make SHEUNG donate more money. CHUI impersonates the Prime Minister and her act frightens KAN. However her trick is discovered and FUNG is arrested by the Prime Minister. SHEUNG is angry with CHUI. CHUI goes to seek help from her mother who lives in Tsui Yuet Shan. Her mother is also a white fox and she asks CHUI to help FUNG cultivate his talents. The Emperor goes hunting in Tsui Yuet Shan. He is assassinated and falls down the cliff. CHUI's mother impersonates the Emperor to trick the assassins and CHUI goes to help him.

As the Emperor does not know who has sent the assassins# he dares not to return to the palace. In fact the assassins were sent by the Prime Minister and KI. As the same time, FUNG grasps an opportunity to escape. He is chased by the Prime Minister's henchmen - Left General and Right General. FUNG comes across his servant HEI. HEI leads him to Tsui Yuet Shan where they meet CHUI and the Emperor. As FUNG is CHUI's husband, the Emperor allows him to join the group. CHI urges YING to marry her. CHUI pushes FUNG in to the pool and with the help of the sacred water, FUNG's mind is cleared and he becomes clever. The Emperor sends FUNG to seek help from SHEUNG. SHEUNG becomes a clever man and he does not disappoint the Emperor. He and his father work and General YUEN and other loyal officials manage to arrest the Prime Minister and KI. CHUI's mother suggests CHUI to leave FUNG. CHUI helps FUNG marry YUET MAY who looks like CHUI. Unfortunately YING discovers that CHUI is a white fox and he hurts CHUI. Can CHUI run away from YING's palm? Will the shock turn FUNG into an idiot again? All these questions will be answered in the final episode!
