Just saw the announcement on TVLine.

Glad to see it's received an early pick-up. The show has by far been my favourite of the '16-'17 season so this was some great news to find. I wonder what this now means for the murder and if it will be solved this season or rolled over to the next...

Yes! I was super excited and surprised that it got an early renewal. After years of being AWOL on the CW, I'm baaaaccck! IMO either they'll do similar with Twin Peaks or the murder will be the focus on S1 which I'm rooting for the latter.
