I agree. He seemed to like her last season. Maybe his girlfriend saw and got jelly. Or maybe he was just faking interest for the sake of ratings (as in, producers were prodding him to flirt). Or because last season she had a boyfriend, he thought his flirting was "safe".... Either way, I could understand her confusion and feeling kinda led on by him.

He seemed genuinely interested when he brought her flowers and went to watch her ballroom dance last season. Also, he initiated the texts and asking her if she would like to go places with him. If he had a g/f, he would have.....SHOULD have mentioned her at some point. Seems like he was trying to keep a door open. When he let her down at the restaurant, my heart broke for her; it was really sad and I was embarrassed for Roy. I like him a lot less now. Playing too many flirty games.
