I'm skeptical of Whitney's feelings there. First let me just say, I have nothing against gay, bi, asexual, pansexual, anything...you know, just falling in love with the person regardless of gender totally makes sense to me. And I believe there is a continuum and most aren't all on one side or the other. I know that's at least true for me, lol!
However, just looking at the body language, Whitney didn't seem into it at all. She seemed very uncomfortable. I think she just likes feeling liked. I don't know. We'll see. I think there is a danger of leading someone just for the sake of an ego stroke. I'm not a Whitney-basher but I hope she really thinks about what she's doing and doesn't just go for the first green light for the heck of it...

Lol!!!! Here I am :)just by happenstance, I decided to log in and see if there were any comments about the "lesbian-ic" situation--I think that was Tal's term :) I just got done watching the episode and I think that Whitney is impulsive. She is also striking out very badly with the male persuasion. She has a very overbearing personality, and this can be a turn off for the fellows, in my humble opinion. The gal with the horses is also impulsive --But she seems to have feelings. Whitney just doesn't want to be alone. She'd kiss a goat if the situation presented itself. That said, she was on the receiving end of an exotic massage from her "best friend", when Babs walked in. I just think she is truly lonely, would prefer male companionship, but is just settling. That kiss looked very forced on Whitney's part.

Yes totally agree. Whitney has been striking out badly with men and I'm sure that makes her feel bad. So just getting any kind of attention and feeling desired/desirable is probably nice for her so she's going to indulge in it. But I didn't get that she was actually attracted to or drawn to Amanda either.
And yeah, Amanda, either she resurfaced just for the show or who knows what...but I think she moved pretty fast, too. I mean, especially if you weren't sure if your friend from long ago would be okay with a same-sex experience or not ...I would assume not! and thus would have to work up to it if I really did want to ever ask, you know? But she just went for it after one horseback riding excursion lol

Hi!!:) I have to wonder if in high school they had a similar experience; Tal seemed to allude to it, or maybe he knew Amanda was gay back then? He seemed to have an idea that Amanda was coming to rake in some dying embers, LOL:) Her parents are not going to be happy. They are old fashioned and would like to see Whitney live a healthy lifestyle first, and then bring home a nice fellow. That's how they roll. They have nothing against folks in the gay community, thank goodness. As for Amanda, she just went for the gusto. I would have ran for the hills. Sorry, but that's how I roll. I never liked when a fellow would move in on me that fast. Amanda should have discussed it with her first. Whitney seemed glad that someone, somewhere was attracted to her. I find Whitney's personality off-putting at times. I also have to wonder about weight requirements on horseback. The horse really seemed to be struggling, but I am not experienced in that realm. It just looked bad to me. Watch, Amanda will tell Whitney "Oh....I didn't mean to lead you on..." LOL!!!!!!! How do you feel about Whitney calling Buddy "Boo Bear" all the time? Shouldn't that sweet talk be reserved for his girlfriend?

She wasn't interested in her at all, romantically. At least not in my opinion. that was just "a line" to let Amanda down...
