Boruto and Sarada rush to Victor's research lab where they find a horrifying plant stealing the chakra of the people near it. As they work with Konohamaru to try to bring it under control, Deepa appears!

The Yamanaka Clan, who have been tracking the village’s ingoing and outgoing traffic with their advanced sensory abilities, spearheads a plan to create a new sensory system and an operational test is conducted.

Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki are assigned to carry out Team 7’s missions by themselves until Konohamaru returns from an unexpected assignment. Boruto runs into Mugino in town and ends up going to his home at Mugino’s invitation.

Team 7 has arrived at a high-tech research center along with Katasuke. There, they end up running into some familiar faces. The mission has ended without incident, and Boruto is ready to head home. However, there’s more they must do. Boruto and his friends end up cooperating in a test-run of a Scientific Ninja Tool that is under development. Boruto is unhappy at first, but as the test run continues his feelings start to change. As that happens, Team 7 is given a new urgent assignment from the Hokage.

The showdown between Team 7 and Ao begins. Team 7 works together to bring Ao down with various attacks and jutsu, but he proves to be a difficult adversary due to his use of scientific ninja tools.

Boruto and the others return to the technology lab to contain and watch over Kawaki while Konohamaru returns to the Leaf Village to report the events of the mission to Naruto.

Kawaki watches a Shinobi Hand-to-Hand Combat match between Naruto and Boruto. Boruto uses his specialty, the Shadow Clone Jutsu, to take on his father, but he struggles. Upon seeing this, Kawaki tells Boruto to use the power of his Karma. Meanwhile, Kawaki becomes interested in the Shadow Clone Jutsu that Naruto and Boruto like to use.

Using the Transportation Technique, Sasuke arrives at a strange location that is covered with mysterious inscriptions. There he finds many surprising things about the Otsutsuki Clan. Meanwhile, Boro, one of the leaders of the Kara, has been using his mysterious powers publicly to heal the sick. He tells the people who have gathered that he has a way for everyone to achieve happiness.

Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki, and Kawaki arrive at the dimension that Naruto is trapped in, but Boro is there waiting for them. The four create a team with Sarada leading them to fight Boro, who uses a black mist to paralyze his enemies.

The reformed Team 7 launches a series of attacks on Boro. But even when they land successful attacks, Boro instantly revives himself with his extraordinary regeneration powers.

Amado reveals to Naruto and the others the knowledge that he possesses regarding Jigen, the Otsutsuki Clan, and Karma. Meanwhile, Koji Kashin confronts Jigen, and Amado's plan to eliminate him is revealed.

Boruto opens a portal and transports Isshiki and himself to another dimension. Naruto and Sasuke follow them, and the final battle against Isshiki begins.

Finished with their battle against Isshiki, Boruto and the others return to the village. Thanks to their work, the safety of the village has been maintained. Boruto is terrified by the fact that Momoshiki once again took over his consciousness during battle. Meanwhile, Amado provides some new information concerning Code, whose powers surpass Jigen. As that happens, something appears before Code, who has been keeping watch over the immature Ten-Tailed Beast in Kara’s possession!

The final exam has finally begun. The first match of the individual competition in the form of a real match is the VS Houki.　The twenty-fifth team of Houki and, unusually among their peers, has been involved in the mission of the "Anbu" until now. However, in the shadows of the ceremony, a group harboring a grudge stealthily begins to make its move.

The Land of Water is taken over by pirates, and contact with Denki's Team 5 is lost. The new Team 7 joins up with a unit led by Kagura and sets out for Dotou Island to assist Team 5 and rescue the islanders. However, the unit is made up of Buntan, Hebiichigo, and Kyoho, who in the past had called themselves the “New Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist.” Sarada and Mitsuki go ashore to scout the island while Boruto and the others stay back and watch the situation nearby.

As Sarada and the others hurry to evacuate the people of the island, Boruto grows anxious when he learns they are being threatened by the mobile fortress, which is equipped with a powerful weapon. Kagura, Hebiichigo and Kyoho show up to assist Boruto, Kawaki and Buntan. Together, they do what they can to destroy the weapon to protect their friends, but they are obstructed by Tenma and are forced to fight him.

Boruto joins Ikada as he sails to a factory where they can get a component needed for ship repair. He is impressed by Ikada’s excellent piloting abilities. Ikada reveals that he left home despite the protests of his family to look for work that involved ships. That was when he met Kajiki and found his dream of becoming a great ship carpenter. They spot a ship that has been in an accident, and while working together to save the passengers, Boruto sees something unbelievable.
