. Season Six: 12-13 years old
. Season Seven: 13-14 years old?

There seems to be questions about Sheldon's age all over. Folks seems to agree that: (1) Sheldon started high school at 9; (2) Sheldon started college at 11; and, (3) Sheldon started at CalTech, AND his dad died when Sheldon was 14.
Other than the above bio bits, it seems EVERY discussion is a free-for-all when it comes to the subject of how-old-Sheldon-was-when....

I don't think they're caring about the continuity, seems like they already decided that Young Sheldon is not going to go the way Old Sheldon "remembered" it.

Including, perhaps especially, his father not dying when Sheldon was a teen.
