By pushing the limit, I mean what they can use as far as copyright. If you tweaked this series a bit, it would be a Star Trek series. This series has the look and feel of a Star Trek series and I am curious to see how far they can push before CBS and or Paramount steps in and invokes copyright infringement. They have done it with You Tube videos, so I am surprised they have not done it with this series. Regardless it is an enjoyable series.

You mean how Star Trek looks like a Forbidden Planet knock-off?
Or how Forbidden Planet seems like a Shakespeare's The Tempest retelling?
Or how The Tempest seems like something straight out of Homer's The Odyssey?
Or how The Odyssey reeks of being inspired by the Epic of Gilgamesh?
I think Seth's safe enough with another generic science fiction drama setting from which to tell his stories.
When he himself can say that there is no difference between Peter Griffin and Fred Flintstone at this point I think it is safe to say there's a nebulous understanding within the creative industry that some bleed is allowed for.

Yes, I agree that it is a Star Trek clone ( the only thing missing is the transporter technology). But I don't mind. I'm annoyed at the real Star Trek for restricting their transmission to online.
