So, The Orville is powered by a "beryllium sphere" now?

Sheesh.

Is this The Orville, or Galaxy Quest?

You say that like it's a bad thing

Well, one Galaxy Quest is enough. They could think of something new. Or just show nothing, like they did before.

You don't want a Galaxy Quest: The Next Generation, a Galaxy Quest: Deep Space Nine, a Galaxy Quest: Vo.... well, let's skip that one, and finally a Galaxy Quest: Protector?

Main thing is, there's already a Galaxy Quest. If they want a Galaxy Quest TV series, then make a Galaxy Quest TV series. Don't make The Orville and turn it into Galaxy Quest.

Especially if you're going to star Seth MacFarlane rather than Tim Allen.

Keep trying, hopefully you'll get there.

I'd like to see a movie night on the ship with "Galaxy Quest". Then their energy sphere gets damaged and they need a replacement. So, someone remembers the movie and they go in search for the planet Epsilon Gorniar II. They'll have to withstand the Blue Demons and hellcuinogenic - a variant of hallucinogenic - tumbleweeds. grinning

Funny, I don't recall the crew of The Orville being washed up actors from a fictional TV series, who now fill their days going to cons and opening stores to earn a buck.

Especially if you're going to star Seth MacFarlane rather than Tim Allen.

Seth is a multi-talented person who annoys MAGA types, while Tim Allen is Tim Allen

I was referring specifically to the "beryllium sphere" now featured in The Orville's engineering section.

The washed-up actors part would be yet to come. grinning (Right now they're the actors from a fictional TV series.)
