I'm not sure I can handle Dexter with a British accent! And the show is pretty clunky in episode one. Starting to be more like The Killing or Broadchurch by episode 2. The writing and dialog so far is beyond clunky. I hope it improves because I like the idea of it and the cast.

Dexter is my all time favorite show. I was excited to see MCH in a new show. I plan on watching it, but I’m not really a fan of series like Broadchurch or The Killing. I hope this is a mini-series, and MCH starts getting to work on a Dexter revival soon.

It's only 8 episodes and the way it ended left me to believe that that will probably be it. The last episode tied everything up pretty well. It's possible there could be more but I can't delve into why without giving it all away.
I will say his british accent was a bit over the top.........

I agree it was good. But I just hope that there's more to come----but I somehow don't think there will be.

You're missing out on Broadchurch---it's very good. I love David Tennant. And Olivia Coleman is about to replace Claire Foy on The Crown.
