Item: Odd Squad
Language: en-US
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: There are a couple of problems with Odd Squad. Most episodes are split into two separately named segments (two different stories), which are often broadcast as separate episodes, e.g. in the UK. As mentioned in the TV bible, these should really be split into two separate episodes.
Secondly, the show is set as Ended, but that is not the case - there is a Season 4.

This is interesting. We usually split cartoon series though there's no guidelines against splitting live action series.
Source please?

It looks like the episodes were originally released as part of the third season. You can use an episode group to recreate the alternative UK order.

Gosh this show is messy, from what I can find (e.g. looking at https://oddsquad.fandom.com/). I know it's made in Canada, but I'm not sure what the "lead" network is. I think it's shown on TVO Kids in Canada, PBS Kids in USA, and I know it's on CBBC in UK. Different countries seem to have different ideas about seasons (apparently Odd Squad season 3 was shown on TVO Kids as a spin-off show, Odd Squad Mobile Unit season 1 for example), as well as the split episode issue I mentioned before.
Interestingly, all the episodes for what CBBC called Odd Squad season 4 (and TVO Kids called Odd Squad Mobile Unit season 2!!!!) were shown here in the UK before any other country, during October and November 2021. Some of these episodes still haven't been shown in Canada or US. I know that thetvdb (where I used to edit) would use the first air date anywhere in the world (even if not in the "lead" country) as the episode air date, but I'm not sure what tmdb policy would be for this type of situation..?
If the episodes could be split into two (including ones like "Odd Together Now", which are shown as two separate episodes (part 1 and part 2) here, on two different dates), then people could use episode groups to recreate different countries orders... I imagine some people would be annoyed by that though.

Has anyone got any more thoughts on this?
In the meantime I see someone (not me!) has added a Season 4 anyway, although it doesn't match up with the UK season 4, which started with the episode https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/73549-odd-squad/season/3/episode/21 and continued to the end of https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/73549-odd-squad/season/4/episode/5, all broadcast back in October and November 2021!
