I've checked official site and Japanese wikipedia both confirming that this "Season 2" was/will be actually released theatrically as 3 movies and only 2 month later aired in TV (I don't know whether as 3 movies or as some TV show re-cut). For now, I've removed Season 2 (it was added 2 days ago with 2 of these movies) and I've also locked TV show status to "Ended" to prevent users adding these 3 movies again. Feel free to ask mods to add another season should it be released properly as TV show.

@asterlea Yes but crunchyroll splitted the first movie into episodes. Please stop thinking crunchyroll is the main source for anime.

The movies combine 4 episodes each. The wikipedia page talestalker linked shows clearly that movie 1 is episodes 13-16, movie 2 is 17-20, and movie 3 is 21-24. You can also see here that the dvds will have these epsiodes as well: http://gineiden-anime.com/bddvd.html

The second season is currently being released in both movie and episodic form. This is not about me "thinking crunchyroll is the main source for anime", but about the episodes currently being available at this moment, but not being represented on this website. If there is a reason to not represent these currently available episodes on this website for some reason, fine, but I felt it was worth pointing out that they do, in fact, currently exist, and are not only something that will exist later in the future, which is how they were previously being discussed.

Still episodes from season 2 has never been aired in japan only crunchyroll stream them. And dvds containing those episodes are not released yet. Maybe creating a episode group only for Crunchyroll (https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/74018-ginga-eiyuu-densetsu-die-neue-these-kaikou/edit?active_nav_item=episode_groups) could resolve the problem.

Episode groups can be used only to make alternative order of existing episodes, but as season 2 episodes will most likely be just recut of theatrically released movies and TMDB doesn't allow any alternative version to original content, I'm not sure if these new episodes will be allowed to add . We will see what these episodes look like...

To add new episodes, the easiest way is to go to the respective season and click on the "Edit" link on top right part of the page (this link appears on the most of TMDB pages and allows you to edit them). Then select "Episodes" from the Edit menu on the left.

I think those episodes should be added as "Specials" and not as Season 2.

This is not a special season, this épisodes follow the First Season. Episodes on a numbering that follows the first, The numbering of the first episodes on second season should be 13, 14, 15 etc....

I never said those episodes aren't part of the main story I know those episodes are the sequel of the first season.

As you say yourself it's the second season, no matter what their format, Why put it in a special folder ? And no more continuity. If I had the second season in three films I would want it when in the second season.

If I share this series with someone I don't want to have to explain to them how to watch this series.
