Last night's new episode, featuring the separate stories of two women who survived the eruption of Mt. St. Helens volcano in Washington state in 1980, was another good one.

Consider this series recommended.

This week's new episode, with the two stories relating to individuals from Vietnam, who eventually became American citizens, is definitely easily the most compelling and emotional so far, with the most personal stories. I've enjoyed all three of the series' installments that have aired, but found this particular one to be the most affecting.

This is a terrific new PBS series, that hopefully others here are watching. Next week's new episode will feature two stories from 9/11.

With the show that was on tonight (February 27, 2018), how was Marla able to live as a nomad for all of those years? Strangely it was never said how she got her money unless I missed that part. At first I was thinking, 'panhandling' until they showed her living in that small town. I'm sure people would be fed up with giving her handouts and would have eventually stopped. I sometimes follow nomads who have YouTube channels and people often ask that question where they get their money from because they don't make that much off of YouTube and being an e-beggar will only get you so far. A few are on disability but most of them aren't.
