Ah. I see. I didn't realize there was ongoing discussion about it. Just saw incorrect data and reported it. Any idea when this might be fixed? I see from the threads that this is following some letter of the law application of a rule that shouldn't apply here, but given the particular circumstances it seems obvious that an exception or clarification of the rule is in order.

I don't think it will be "fixed" as according to the rules of the site, it's not "broken".

I agree with you that all the episodes should show as Season 1. Having just re-read the rules (https://www.themoviedb.org/bible/tv/59f743289251416e71000037#59f7445c9251416e71000038) I'm struggling to think of any show where it makes sense to list such episodes as "Specials". IIRC the order of "Powerless" (mentioned on the page) was all over the shop and I'm not convinced any of the "orders" is 100% correct - but it's been a while since I saw it.

Thanks. The episode group thing doesn't really help as I use tmdb through an api to pull information for different shows for a project I work on. I do get now though that there is some weird stance being taken by the site admins now re: doubling down on incorrect information, so I'll have to find my own way around it.
