I really like this show. But there is one tiny little thing that always ruins the willing suspension of disbelief for me - the rich guy's front door is too short.
He can afford a butler, but for some reason his front door is too short for him. Every time they show him walking in or out of his house, he has to duck to fit through the door because he's so tall. There is no way somebody like that would put up with that kind of hassle in his own home. He'd put in a taller door. There is plenty of room to do it too, its not like there is a second story or a supporting beam limiting the height of the door.
Anyway... everytime I see him walk through that door it reminds me its a set and not a home where the character actually lives.

Don't watch the show; but sounds like a "running gag".

Nope. They never even acknowledge it, he just acts like any typical tall guy does when going through a normal door - makes a slight duck without even pausing. Its just something tall people learn to do automatically.
In a way it reminds me of the microwave oven in the kitchen on Two and Half Men. It was always placed with the right-hand side flush up against a wall so that the door (hinged on the left side) swung open facing the wall. You could tell that no one ever actually had to use it because it would have been a huge PITA to get food in and out with the door opening the wrong way. If it were a real kitchen they would have rotated it 90 degrees and it would have been much simpler to use.
