15-year-old Ritika, amidst the chaos of the Awasthi family, feels the need to have a room of her own. But an unexpected visit from a family guest drastically disturbs her plan.

It’s the new year. Ritika wants to meet her crush. Yet, the seemingly charming boy breaks her heart. On top of her secrecy is about to get disclosed when an unexpected turn of events shows her a way out.

As Ritika voluntarily becomes the caretaker of the family, with her mother ill, fear of exams come knocking her down. Will she find an unexpected savior?

The PTM takes an unexpected turn when Ritika’s mother, a teacher is accused of having children unworthy of a respectable school - teacher. Rishi and Ritika decide to prove they are worthy. There comes a moment where Ritika has to choose between her ambition and that of her younger brother.

Ritika has a secret admirer. He crosses a line. She is in a situation where she does not feel comfortable in launching a complaint. A helping hand comes from a direction that Ritika could never have imagined.

Ritika's friend Shubhi visits the Awasthis. Rishi can't help but get smitten by her. Ritika devises a plan to know his true intentions.

Rishi and Ritika have big plans for Holi. But Neerja is concerned about Ritika’s exam which falls on the next day.

Rishi gets bullied in school. Ritika helps Rishi teach the bully a lesson, but the siblings end up getting into trouble.

It’s Sanjay’s birthday. Neerja and the kids have a surprise planned, but Dadi is planning to celebrate the special day in her own way. Sanjay is stuck between his wife and kids, and his mother.

Sanjay’s older brother visits the family. Sanjay is made to realize that he is not strict enough with his children.

Rishi and Ritika finally gain independence from their controlling parents, as Neerja, Sanjay and Dadi have to visit bade papa due to an emergency. But then come clouds of rain and unexpected problems.

The siblings are at war as Raksha Bandhan is around the corner. But when Ritika brings an abandoned puppy home, the kids have to come together to keep it a secret.

Bade papa’s son Ashu is here to stay at Awasthi Niwas. Rishi is thrilled to finally have an elder brother as he always desired. However, Ashu is not who he seems to be. Ritika is concerned.

Ritika wants heels but no one is ready to fulfill her wish. In her efforts to get a pair, she ends up crossing a line. Ritika has to find balance between her desire, self esteem and family values.

While Neerja and Sanjay worry about Ritika’s fast approaching board exams, a new friendship brews between her and a new boy in class.
