I just started watching this TV show and saw only first episode. Yeah, John is a creepy, bad guy, but you know who annoys me more in this TV show? Debra's spoiled snobby kids. Their talk, their walking, even their voice... God, so annoying. And that moment in the first episode when one of them starts yelling at Debra and John asks her to lower her voice and don't talk to her mother like that & if it was his daughter he would slap her... And then she says, "wow mom, you gonna allow him to talk like that to me?". Yeah, John is a bad guy in this TV show, but in that situation he was right. Even if I was there as a guest and saw this scene, some spoiled teen yelling at her mother, I would tell her same to lower her tone & show more respect to her superior. And did you notice that scene with another daughter at the start, how she throws plate and bananas on the floor, throwing a tantrum? And her mother just ignores it... Yeah, they are very spoiled, annoying kids and it's because Debra as a parent has been weak.

I finished this TV show. Overall it was made very well and I think it deserves at least 9 if not 10. I also watched the documentary about this and I can say that makers of this TV show did a terrific job. They put all, even small details into it. Just one thing I need to highlight: Real daughter doesn't seem so annoying and she sounds just a normal girl (maybe her tone is a bit different, maybe snobby, but it's just tone), so I have no idea why they decided to make these kids so spoiled and annoying in show. In documentary both mom and daughter seem pretty normal, nice people. I mentioned only one daughter, because another daughter didn't wish to reveal herself there.
