Plague of Madness first aired, unannounced, on April 1, 2020 as part of Adult Swim's annual April Fool's Day stunt.

Thanks. I'd seen that, but just to confirm: the episode number on TMDB is determined by the air order rather than by the production company's episode number?
That seems confusing for anyone watching something at any time beyond the initial air date.
I noticed the issue for example because the reviews on Trakt correspond to the wrong episodes for this and the following episode.
