Ali Hamidi, Neil Spooner and Tom Dove's mission to track down the world's largest carp takes them to Slovenia, visiting a remote lake full of submerged trees and a park lake that produced the country's record catch of almost 80lb.

Then it is off for the main event at a large water called Viverone, not far from the Alps, where they go up against fish with a reputation for outwitting anglers.

The team travel to a venue in Hungary that has produced carp weighing more than 40kg in the past. However, they quickly discover it shares a common problem with many lakes in this part of the world - there are also hordes of hungry smaller carp under 20lb.

The team members head to the Netherlands, which is renowned for its extensive waterways, but they will be focusing their attention on a lake called Carplantis which is home to some fantastic-looking, and very large carp. Plus, they also take in a spot of barbel fishing on the River Meuse.

The team film their first-ever episode in the UK, from the Wasing Estate in Berkshire, which has a number of lakes and was previously the home of the British record carp. Ali, Neil and Tom find it difficult to tempt the carp as this lake has been fished regularly by other anglers, and these old fish have seen everything over the years.

The first leg of The Tour of France sees the intrepid trio - Ali, Dovey and Spooner - head south to a large natural lake called Carces.

Ali, Dovey and Spooner head to the north east of France near to Reims, to Crete Lakes - a prestigious and well-known water that holds colossal carp up to an incredible 85lbs.

The concluding leg of the Tour of France sees the boys head to Dijon, to a lake named The Graviers - previously home to the world record carp. Competitive camaraderie is rife, as Ali, Dovey and Spooner not only target a 70lber, but they also decide to have a competition to see who can catch the biggest carp of the trip and go onto win the prestigious Monster Carp Yellow Jersey.

Tom Dove and Neil Spooner are in the South of France, where the lads battle against themselves and the locals as they try to land the sought-after wild carp of Salagou.

The lads travel to Spain and head off the beaten track to visit an old enemy in search of redemption, fishing at the stunning Lake Orellana.

Tom and Neil go head to head on an Italian job like no other as they do battle for the ultimate carp fishing trophy - but will feelings get in the way of success?

The boys head to Hungary to hunt the biggest king carp on the planet - Tom and Neil team up as they target a place in the record books at a lake famous for monster fish.
