I was wondering if they had mind wipes for people like they do with droids

At least that would explain how Leia has completely forgotten who Obi-Wan is by A New Hope. Do these people even bother to watch or read the original movies? So disappointing when they can't even keep canon straight.

Also in ANH Owen is clearly hostile towards Obi-Wan. By the end of the series he is introducing Luke to him? Whatever.
