I just watched it, and I liked it. Mostly cause it reminded me of a MMORPG I used to play called City of Heroes.
My main critique however is I do wish the story for the season actually went somewhere other than establish their origins, instead of leaving any resolutions for the next season. There's a reason why Stranger Things was popular, as they actually concluded each arc at the end of the season. Instead we get no resolutions and a cliffhanger ending, which nobody likes for a Netflix series. I give it 3 stars.
However, the stuff I did like about it outweighed the think I didn't like, so I'm still looking forward to season 2.
