Rudeus, Eris, and Ruijerd are nearing the end of their journey, but a chance encounter in a snowy mountain pass threatens to put a premature end to their adventures.

Rudeus sinks into depression following Eris's departure. As he struggles to get back on his feet, the many people he's met continue their own journeys.

Unaired episode included in the fourth Blu-ray volume. The episode will take place during the same time in episode 16 (episode 5 in second cour) and depict what Eris and Ruijerd were up to outside the main story, as teased by the comment "Goblin Extermination."
