In honor of V Day: Favorite Buffy Couple?

This is a tough one for me, because I think my favorite was probably one that no one else likes--Willow and Xander. Yes, I know they were seeing other people, but still, they just worked for me. After that, probably Willonw and Tara, then Willow and Oz. I have no idea what it means that all my favorite BtVS couples involve Willow.
Well, not all of them. I loved Spike and Dru, too. They put the fun in dysfunctional, after all.

Well, Buffy and Angel are simply the ultimate couple. I thought Willow and Oz were cute. I also liked Spike and Dru, they were just sick!

It's strange, but I didn't really like Angel on BtVS much (though he was a lot more fun when he turned evil). I never got into the Buffy/Angel storyline that much, but there were other things about the show that kept me tuning in.
Now that I think a bit more about it, perhaps I should have mentioned Giles/Jenny, too. Heartbreaking, that one. :-(
Looks like it's just you and me for now, but I'm not going to stop. I'm seriously thinking of doing a complete rewatch of the series, and if I do, I'll post about it. Maybe others will show up. I can't just let a Buffy board sit here unused.

I had to sign up just to reply. Buffy was the my first fandom, and B/A and W/X are my original ships.

The romance part was never my favourite part of the show, but the couple was such a big deal in my favourite seasons, they deserved a special mention.
Ah, yes, Giles and Jenny. They were cute, but so heartbreaking. Not much fun.

I am not young, but I love Buffy. Have all seasons on dvd. Same for Angel and Firefly.

Have just realised - I was off topic with my last post !! I thought I would never get over Buffy and Angel, but then Spike and Buffy got me hooked. Joss always said that he had plans for the next couple - Spike and Angel !!! Sorry we missed that one!!

Tara and Willow, definitely! But I loved Buffy and Angel too, and Spuffy at times (certainly not when he tried to rape her!)

It's been ages since I've seen Buffy. (Time to rewatch?) But my favourite couple would have to be Spike and Buffy.

They were never really a couple, but I was most drawn to the dynamic between Buffy and Spike. Their relationship was the most complex and developed for me. They brought out the best and the worst in each other, but yet somehow ended up in a good place at the end of the day. I also always had a soft spot for Willow and Tara.

Xander and Anya are my favorite couple them breaking up really destroyed the last few seasons for me. Really time traveling Xander talks Xander into breaking off the wedding I could of done without that. Also Xander from the future had both eyes so either breaking up with Anya made Xander more careless allowing Caleb to poke his eye out or that was not Xander from the future but really some evil unnamed demon I call Joss.

Haha wow, I actually can't stand Anya and Xander- I don't really like Anya in general
