Why? It's the first part of a three part storyline.

They are not multi-part. By that logic, the entire series is one story and should have silly numbers in the titles

The series premiered in the US with a 90-minute movie, which were the first three episodes of the series. Since the episodes are listed separately on the database, they are considered multi-part episodes and should be labeled as such.
