How come then, that the Pixar Popcorn series isn't a Collection, when it clearly says in its description, that it is a "Collection of mini shorts"???

This is from your website, so there clearly is some sort of a confusion here. Also, the fact that I Am Groot is now enlisted under collections, it breaks the metadata link from Infuse player, so it's not displaying any sort of poster, wallpaper or banner for the series.

The basic reason that explain why Groot is listed as movies is that it is listed as movies on the Disney+ website : https://www.disneyplus.com/movies/groots-first-steps/4YcuPHl87ZEw (and 4 others). For Pixar Popcorn, it is listed on the Disney+ website as a series page : https://www.disneyplus.com/series/pixar-popcorn/6myHSsSy2nB8 (We always things based on the first broadcaster).

The discussion on the thread has derived to discuss about this page, but it is just a promotional page and not the official broadcaster page.

I do vote to classify "I am Groot" as TV Series with episodes. Like TheTVDB did. The website TheTVDB has listed "I am Groot" as TV Show I am Groot - Season 1

It's irritating to have them rated as short movies. Funny enough, I wanted to raise same example with the Pixar Popcorn Shorts which I also celebrated to have them as TV Series/Episodes in my DB scraped with TMDB.

However, I do understand if you have your rules at TMDB. Also Serienjunkies.de states that it's unusual like Disney has setup this Collection as short movies rather than a TV Show. They mention each movie so far has its own poster as an advantage ;-) Season 2 is planned ! serienjunkies.de

Well, except for all of the aforementioned data which has Disney themselves listing it as a 'series', or as a 'show'. I realise it is completely useless arguing with you and it won't be changed... but let's not blindly insist that there is nothing that indicates it is not a movie.... when just about every single other piece of information available contradicts that assumption... including every other listing website out there. This really is just YOU making this decision and ignoring all of the other evidence.
