People can write whatever they want in the collection overview, including falsehoods. There is no way for us to lock the collection overview at the moment to prevent this.
Officially, Prometheus is not a prequel to Alien,

Hello, I think 'Alien Covenant' should be part of Alien's collection as 'Rogue One' is part of 'Star Wars'. There is also the same discussion for 'Alien vs Predator' add to 'alien' or 'Predator' :)

I think the people working at TMDB should really spend time actually watching movies. Saying Prometheus and Alien Covenant is no linked to the Alien franchise is just...... i mean do you even hear what you are saying??
All these movies have Weyland-Yutani, and ALL these movies is explaining how and where Xenomorphs came about. Are you guys asleep during the movie????
I really think the team organizing collections in TMDB is painfully incompetent. You guys got a lot of collections wrong! Have some common sense! or quit the job if you are not passionate about movies at all

There is definitely a link. The command room of the Alien spaceship in Promotheus is the exact same we can (briefly) see in the very first Alien (the eighth passenger) when they visit the abandoned spaceship. And then how do you argue that Alien: Covenant and Alien: Romulus are not part of the Alien collection? It doesn't make sense!
