Extra Details: I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request the inclusion of “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw” in the Fast and Furious collection on your platform.

As an avid fan and contributor to the TMDB community, I’ve noticed that the current Fast and Furious collection does not feature this significant spinoff, which is an integral part of the franchise’s universe. The movie, released in 2019, follows key characters Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw and has been well-received by fans for its action-packed narrative that complements the main storyline.

Here are the details of the movie for your reference:

Title: Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw Release Year: 2019 Including this movie in the collection would provide a more comprehensive and accurate representation of the Fast and Furious saga, ensuring that fans have access to the complete narrative arc.

Thank you for considering this request. I look forward to seeing the collection updated to reflect the entirety of the Fast and Furious narrative.

As you indicate it yourself, this is a spinof, not a sequel. Consequently, it shouldn't be included in this collection.

Dear superboy97, I understand the distinction you’ve made regarding “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw” as a spinoff rather than a direct sequel within the Fast and Furious collection. However, I would like to offer a perspective that might support its inclusion.

The Fast and the Furious franchise has expanded beyond the main storyline to encompass a broader universe that includes various characters and narratives. “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift,” for example, was initially considered a standalone film but has since been integrated into the main plotline due to its connections with the overarching narrative.

As stated here "Series of stand-alone films and mixed series marketed as proper sequels are also allowed as collections. These sequels are usually numbered and share a similar theme and/or an universe. They are commonly used in horror collections, for example Saw and Final Destination. Other popular examples are The Fast and the Furious Collection, which includes the Tokyo Drift spin-off, or the Step Up Collection."

Similarly, “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw,” while a spinoff, delves into the lives of two pivotal characters from the series, Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw. It enriches the franchise’s world by providing depth to their backstories and contributing to the saga’s continuity. Given that the official rules have set a precedent by including “Tokyo Drift,” it seems consistent to also include “Hobbs & Shaw” in the collection, as it is an extension of the same universe.

Including “Hobbs & Shaw” would offer fans a more comprehensive view of the Fast and Furious universe, ensuring that the collection represents the full scope of the franchise’s narrative arc.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
