4-year-old malnourished Adam is admitted to hospital off the back of a court ruling. Head paediatric nurse Lucy allows Adam’s mum Rebecca to stay by her son’s side, despite the strictly limited visiting times set by the judge. When Rebecca digs her heels in and refuses to leave Adam, things become complicated. In the interest of the child, Lucy does everything she can to help this mother in distress.

Adam, 4 ans, est hospitalisé pour malnutrition à la suite d’une décision de justice. Lucy, l’infirmière en chef autorise la mère d’Adam à rester auprès de son fils au-delà des heures de visite fixées par le juge. Mais la situation se complique quand celle-ci refuse une nouvelle fois de quitter son fils. Dans l’intérêt de l’enfant, Lucy fera tout pour venir en aide à cette mère en détresse.
