It was a nice and simple concept; immortals from all around the world for what ever reason swordfighting each other until only one remains. You had memorable scenes and characters. So how did we get from highlanders battling each other with swords for the prize into five weirdos go on a field trip together looking for the "source"... Good god. Everyday we stray further from god's light.
