Assi, a failing actor, returns from army reserve duty to his hometown in Southern Israel. While he dreams of becoming a successful theater actor in Tel Aviv, he teaches high-school drama acting classes by day, and acts in a small cabaret show in the local community center by night. An unexpected event makes him famous - as the public enemy number one. His new reality would force him to decide if he should lay low and conform, or use his theatrical skills to speak up about the corruption of society - as he juggles through the grand circus that is his life.

אסי, שחקן כושל, חוזר משירות מילואים לעיר מגוריו בדרום הארץ. בזמן שהוא חולם להפוך להיות שחקן תיאטרון מצליח בעיר הגדולה תל אביב, הוא מלמד דרמה לנוער בתיכון בשעות היום, ומשחק במופע קברט קטן במרכז תרבות קהילתי מקומי בשעות הלילה. אירוע בלתי צפוי מביא אותו לקדמת הבמה - בתור אויב הציבור מספר אחת. המציאות החדשה הזו תכפה עליו לבחור האם עליו להרכין ראש ולשמור על פרופיל נמוך, או להשתמש ביכולות התיאטרליות שלו על מנת לדבר בקול על השחיתות והצביעות בחברה הישראלית - בעודו מג׳נגל בין הקרקס הגדול והטוטאלי שהם החיים שלו.

Asi llega a un pequeño teatro en su ciudad natal, al volver de la guerra. Frente a un pequeño público, actúa en un inocente espectáculo de cabaret. Por las mañanas es profesor de teatro en la escuela secundaria local. Se convierte en enemigo público cuando se viraliza un video grabado en el aula, en el que comparte su calvario en el campo de batalla. Lo despiden de su trabajo y decide contraatacar a través de su show en el cabaret, atacando al gobierno y a la sociedad israelí.
