What are your favourite films of 1932?
For the time being, this is as far back as I shall be going. I have seen fewer than ten films for pretty much every year from 1931 backwards. Hopefully I shall be in a position to post earlier lists one of these days - in the meantime anybody else is free to start threads for earlier years, and I shall contribute when I can.
I intend to continue to amend my existing top tens whenever I see something good enough to change things. Thanks so much to those who have taken the time to read, contribute and post favourites of their own!

No thank you for starting them!
I'll do 31 & 30.
In no particular order:
One Way Passage
A Bill of Divorcement
The Dark Horse
Grand Hotel
The Mummy
Murders in the Rue Morgue
Tarzan the Ape Man
Vampyr

High accolades, rudely, for creating the numerous annual and decades lists! Ditto to you, brat, for also creating several!
1932 films (listed alphabetically) in my collection are:
1932 was a terrific and memorable year in film, with a bounty of wonderful titles to be able to pick from. To round things up to a grand total of 10 favourites, I'll go with:

You once suggested I continue to participate despite not having seeing ten for each year. I now refer you to your own advice.
This endeavor of yours has been like a time machine slowly going back in time through the history of film. It's a journey and it would be a shame for you to stop now that your so close to the end. While I would definitely have to stop after 1931 because I've only seen about 7 or 8 films from before 1930, I see no reason why you can't go on. As you said, you can always update them later. You haven't seen a full ten for each year? It doesn't matter. I doubt many people have.
