Sangjae, a janitor at a university, finds solace in birdwatching, his one and only hobby. However, when a new campus building is constructed, its glass facade becomes a death trap for migratory birds. One day, he notices Tom, an older janitor, quietly placing stickers on the windows to prevent further fatal collisions.

대학교 캠퍼스에서 청소노동자로 일하는 상재의 유일한 취미는 새 관찰이다. 어느날, 대학교 신축 건물이 들어서며 미관 목적의 통유리창으로 인해 새들이 부딪혀 죽게 된다. 이때 톰이 유리창에 충돌방지스티커를 붙이는 것을 목격한다.
